Administrator redirection and session disclosure via unvalidated page
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Open redirect in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-alpha.1 through 2.0.0-RC.2 allows remote attackers to redirect administrators. The session course edit handler passes the user-controlled page parameter, after XSS filtering but without same-origin validation, into the Location header and appends id_session. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to save coach assignment changes, after which the browser visits the external URL and discloses the session identifier.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
