CVE-2026-32905Network attack vector

Persistent device enrollment via scope-free pairing codes

Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026

Authorization bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to enroll devices through chat commands. The bundled device-pair plugin exposes /pair on normal chat surfaces and issues bootstrap codes without requiring owner, admin, or pairing scope. The plugin must be enabled and a non-owner sender must have command access; a redeemed code grants persistent operator/node credentials until removal.
