Unauthenticated webhook event injection via passwordless fallback
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Missing authentication in OpenClaw before 2026.2.21 allows remote attackers to submit BlueBubbles webhook events without a password. The extensions/bluebubbles webhook handler accepts events through a passwordless fallback when loopback or proxy heuristics match. Exposure requires the optional beta plugin and a manual configuration without webhook password authentication; accepted events can inject message data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
