Cross-course grade deletion via unchecked result IDs
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
IDOR in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-alpha.1 through 2.0.0-RC.2 allows remote authenticated users to delete grade results. The gradebook result view loads user-supplied delete_mark or resultdelete IDs and deletes the returned object without verifying its evaluation or course. Teacher-level access is sufficient to permanently delete any student's cross-course grade result; a nonexistent resultdelete ID also triggers a PHP fatal error.
