Teacher-session compromise via unencoded pagination parameters
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Reflected XSS in Chamilo LMS before 2.0.0-RC.3 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a teacher's browser. The pagination code in public/main/exercise/question_list_admin.inc.php preserves arbitrary GET keys, URL-encodes them with http_build_query(), and inserts the result into an href attribute without HTML encoding. A victim must be signed in as a teacher and open the crafted URL; execution can expose the teacher session and permit grade or course-content changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
