Out-of-bounds read in NI LabVIEW 2026 Q1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted VI file. The mgcore_SH_25_3!aligned_free() routine reads beyond an allocation boundary while LabVIEW processes attacker-controlled VI data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which the flaw exposes process memory or executes arbitrary code in that user's context.
