Role deletion via unvalidated cross-site requests
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
CSRF in Admidio 5.0.0 through 5.0.6 allows remote attackers to delete or change organizational roles through a victim's session. The delete, activate, and deactivate handlers in modules/groups-roles/groups_roles.php accept role UUIDs and mutate role state without validating the submitted anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in user with rol_assign_roles to visit attacker-controlled content; deletion permanently removes memberships, event links, and access-right data.
