Environment disclosure via unchecked USERVAR requests

Information disclosure in GNU Inetutils telnet through 2.7 allows remote attackers to read client environment variables via a Telnet server. The client unconditionally returns the value of any variable named in a NEW_ENVIRON SEND USERVAR request, without requiring that variable to be exported. A user must connect the client to an attacker-controlled server; the server can then recover secrets or other data held in the client process environment.
