Authenticated code execution via failed-token upload
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Admidio before 5.0.7 allows remote authenticated users with document-upload rights to execute server-side code. UploadHandlerFile.php lets its parent write the file before validation, then an invalid CSRF token sets an error that skips extension checks and deletion. Any authenticated member with Documents & Files upload rights can leave a directly accessible PHP script on the server and run commands under the web service account.
