Arbitrary file read via incomplete path blocklist
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
Path traversal in SiYuan 3.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with admin access to read process-accessible files. POST /api/file/globalCopyFiles resolves attacker-supplied source paths with filepath.Abs(), checks only an incomplete util.IsSensitivePath() blocklist, and copies allowed paths into the workspace. Administrative access is required; exposed data can include process environment variables, container secrets, and home-directory credentials, while the API does not alter source files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
