Relative path traversal in SciTokens C++ before 1.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to exceed token scope restrictions. The Enforcer scope_validator path normalization collapses parent-directory components in an untrusted scope claim before making authorization decisions. A crafted bearer token can expand read or write authorization to sibling directories or the protected namespace root, breaking tenant isolation.
