Unauthenticated service interruption via array property overwrite
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Type confusion in Qwik City before 1.19.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through crafted form submissions. The formToObj parser treats a dotted path as an array after seeing numeric child keys, then permits later non-index keys such as length or push to overwrite array properties. No authentication is required when a public route parses URL-encoded or multipart form data; malformed arrays can trigger runtime errors or excessive memory and server work.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
