Data disclosure via cleartext legacy API requests
Published May 9, 2026 · Updated May 9, 2026
Cleartext transmission in EZVIZ App before iOS 7.3.1 and Android 7.3.0.0210 allows adjacent attackers to read request data. Legacy API interfaces in older cloud feature modules send network requests without adequate confidentiality protection, exposing their contents to passive capture. Exploitation requires an adjacent network position, needs no authentication or user interaction, and affects confidentiality without reported integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
