Authenticated session corruption via unchecked attribute deletion
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Improper access control in PSI Probe 5.0 through 5.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete attributes from any Tomcat session. RemoveSessAttributeController trusts supplied sid and attr parameters, finds the selected session, and calls removeAttribute without checking ownership or restricting attribute names. The probeuser role is sufficient; successful requests corrupt the target application's session state and can disrupt authorization or other session-dependent behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
