Unauthorized BACnet commands via unauthenticated packet spoofing
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Authentication bypass in Automated Logic WebCTRL Premium Server before 8.5 allows remote attackers to submit spoofed BACnet packets. The BACnet input path performs no network-layer authentication or additional validation before accepting traffic as legitimate. Access to a routable BACnet segment is required; accepted packets can modify control communications, while no disclosure or service interruption is established.
