Code injection in Daniel Fairhead simpleeval before 1.0.5 allows attackers to escape the expression sandbox through exposed objects. SimpleEval's attribute and call evaluators followed public attribute chains from objects in names and accepted dangerous modules or functions reached through them. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled expressions and an exposed object with a reachable module or forbidden callback, enabling dangerous calls with the host Python process's authority.
