Internal API data exposure via DNS rebinding
Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026
Origin validation error in Nicolargo Glances before 4.5.2 allows remote attackers to read internal API data via DNS rebinding. The REST/WebUI FastAPI app in glances_restful_api.py omits TrustedHostMiddleware and accepts arbitrary Host headers. Exploitation requires a user to visit an attacker-controlled domain while a Glances web server is browser-reachable; the rebound origin can read REST data and reach the token route.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
