Stored XSS via unescaped Contact Form 7 entries
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Stored XSS in OOPSpam Anti-Spam 1.2.62 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through Contact Form 7 submissions. The plugin stores attacker-controlled form fields and renders them in the wp-admin Spam and Valid Entries views without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires Contact Form 7 protection and an administrator to open an injected entries view, exposing that browser session to script actions.
