Ticket overbooking via concurrent cart additions
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
A race condition in the affected WordPress ticketing plugin 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to overbook inventory. The shopping-cart addition path checks and reserves the same remaining inventory without serializing simultaneous requests. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the consequence is limited to conflicting reservations or oversold ticket capacity rather than account compromise.
