Stored XSS via unencoded search-result page names
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Stored XSS in Concrete CMS before 9.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted page names in search results. The search block view outputs getCollectionName() directly, while highlightedMarkup() processes page content and query text before HTML encoding. Administrator privileges are required to store the payload, and another user's search-result view executes it in that user's browser context.
