Device information disclosure via unauthenticated web APIs
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Missing authentication in web APIs in affected Sharp routers allows attackers to retrieve device information without a login. The APIs expose device data that supplies part of the factory administrative password, linking an unauthenticated read directly to credential derivation. Access requires an adjacent-network position, and administrative takeover is limited to devices whose initial password remains unchanged.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
