CVE-2026-32317Network attack vector

Hub token exfiltration via unverified vault endpoints

Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026

Origin validation failure in Cryptomator for Android before 1.12.3 allows attackers to exfiltrate Hub session tokens via a tampered vault. The Hub key-loading workflow accepts authentication and API endpoint URLs from vault.cryptomator without verifying that both identify the intended host. Exploitation requires write access to encrypted storage and a user unlocking a Hub-backed vault; the stolen token exposes Hub metadata, not encrypted vault contents.
