Service denial via unchecked provisioning certificates

Improper certificate validation in GL.iNet Comet firmware before 1.7.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to interrupt cloud access. During boot provisioning, the device accepts client and CA certificates from its cloud connection without authenticating the peer or validating the returned certificate chain. An attacker positioned on that network path can supply fraudulent certificates, after which the device persistently fails MQTT authentication to the legitimate KVM cloud service.
