Authenticated database extraction via unsanitized subquery configuration
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
SQL injection in Craft Commerce 5.0.0 through 5.5.4 allows remote authenticated users to extract database contents through control-panel requests. The hasVariant and hasProduct query properties evade the controller's top-level blocklist and pass attacker-controlled subquery configuration to Craft::configure() without sanitization. Exploitation requires control-panel access, the Commerce plugin, and products with variants; extracted security keys enable forged administrator sessions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
