Unauthenticated order disclosure via failed payment response
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Information disclosure in Craft Commerce 4.0.0 through 4.10.2 and 5.0.0 through 5.5.4 allows remote attackers to read customer order data. PaymentsController::actionPay loads an order by number before authorization completes and returns cartArray($order) in the failed email-check JSON response. A completed order number and failed email check expose customer email, shipping address, and billing address without authentication.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
