Cross-tenant secret disclosure via unchecked template export
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Improper authorization in Chartbrew before 4.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other teams' project data via template export. The GET /team/:team_id/template/generate/:project_id handler fails to await checkAccess and never verifies that project_id belongs to the caller's team. Valid template-generation access to one team is sufficient to expose another team's chart metadata, connection hosts, request headers, and request bodies.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
