Arbitrary Cypher execution via unsanitized node labels
Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026
Cypher injection in Graphiti before 0.28.2 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete graph data through crafted labels. Shared non-Kuzu search-filter builders join SearchFilters.node_labels with a pipe and concatenate the result into Cypher label expressions without validation. Reachability requires control of node_labels or MCP search_nodes entity_types, including through prompt injection, and execution is limited to the graph database connection privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
