CVE-2026-32242Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via cross-provider OAuth2 state race

Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026

Authentication bypass in Parse Server before 8.6.37 and 9.0.0 through 9.6.0-alpha.10 allows remote attackers to access accounts. The built-in OAuth2 adapter reuses one mutable singleton across provider configurations, so concurrent validation can run with another provider's policy. The flaw requires multiple providers configured with oauth2: true and overlapping login requests; a token rejected by its intended policy can be accepted.
