CVE-2026-32204

Local privilege escalation via attacker-controlled path

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

External path control in Microsoft Azure Monitor Agent before 1.14.0 allows local users to elevate privileges on a host. Microsoft identifies external control of a file name or path but has not disclosed the affected operation or code locus. A low-privileged local account is required, and successful exploitation grants elevated access on the host without user interaction.
