Absolute path traversal in Microsoft .NET 8.0 through 10.0 allows remote authenticated users to write files via crafted files. Microsoft has not disclosed the responsible API or the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled paths. Exploitation requires sending a specially crafted file to a vulnerable Windows system and permits file and directory writes only to certain locations.
