Stored XSS in OpenEMR before 8.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in users' browsers via code descriptions. The dynamic code picker AJAX endpoint returns raw code_text in JSON, and DataTables inserts it into cells as HTML without output encoding. Code-management rights are required to store a payload, and execution requires another user to open an affected picker, enabling session theft or actions as that user.
