CVE-2026-32103Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin-to-owner takeover via unrestricted reset token generation

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Authorization bypass in withStudioCMS StudioCMS before 0.4.3 allows remote authenticated users with admin access to take over the owner account. The create-reset-link handler accepts a caller-supplied userId, skips identity and role-hierarchy checks, and returns the target's reset token. An admin can pass that token to reset-password, replace the owner's password, and gain full instance control without owner interaction.
