CVE-2026-3209Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated authorization bypass via conflicting role IDs

Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026

Improper access control in Pangolin 1.15.4-s.0 through 1.15.4-s.3 allows remote authenticated users to bypass role restrictions. The verifyRoleAccess and verifyApiKeyRoleAccess middleware prioritizes a body roleIds array over the single role ID targeted by the request, so authorization checks attacker-selected IDs instead. A low-privileged account can supply permitted IDs while targeting a different protected role, enabling unauthorized role-controlled operations.
