CVE-2026-32060Network attack vector

Arbitrary file modification via unchecked apply_patch paths

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Path traversal in OpenClaw before 2026.2.14 allows remote authenticated users to write or delete files outside the workspace. The non-sandbox path resolver in apply_patch accepts traversal sequences and absolute paths without enforcing the configured workspace root. Exploitation requires apply_patch without filesystem sandbox containment and access to trigger tool execution, exposing host files to arbitrary modification or deletion.
