Authentication bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.2.25 allows remote authenticated users to enter node event execution flows unpaired. The Gateway WebSocket handler treated client.id=control-ui under trusted-proxy authentication as sufficient to skip device identity and pairing without also requiring the operator role. Exploitation requires trusted-proxy authentication and a node-role WebSocket session; it crosses the node authorization boundary into node event methods.
