CVE-2026-32040Public exploit

Cross-site scripting via unvalidated image MIME type

Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026

Cross-site scripting in the OpenClaw HTML session exporter before 2026.2.23 allows attackers to execute JavaScript via crafted image entries. The exporter inserts each image block's mimeType into an img data-URL attribute without validation or escaping, so a quote terminates the attribute and injects script-bearing markup. Exploitation requires control of image entries in session data and user interaction to open the exported HTML; successful execution runs in the viewer's browser context.
