Input authenticity failure in OpenClaw before 2026.2.21 allows remote attackers to spoof client IP addresses through a trusted proxy. The gateway's parseForwardedForClientIp function split the X-Forwarded-For value on commas and selected the first entry instead of the last proxy-added entry. Exploitation requires gateway.trustedProxies and a proxy chain that appends or preserves attacker-supplied headers, enabling rate-limit or IP-based access-control bypass.
