Metadata spoofing in OpenClaw before 2026.2.26 allows remote authenticated users to access restricted node commands on trusted networks. The Gateway accepts client-supplied platform and deviceFamily values during reconnect even though the device-auth signature does not bind those fields. Exploitation requires an already paired node identity and a configuration whose command policy differs by platform; successful spoofing broadens command eligibility.
