Authenticated event injection via skipped callback authorization
Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.2.25 allows remote authenticated users to inject system-event text via Slack callbacks. The Slack interaction handlers accept block_action, view_submission, and view_closed events before applying sender and channel authorization checks. Exploitation requires membership in the same Slack workspace and a deployment using allowFrom, DM policy, or channel allowlists; impact is limited to enqueueing attacker-controlled system-event text into an active session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
