CVE-2026-31974Network attack vector

Internal network reconnaissance via blind SSRF

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Blind SSRF in OpenProject before 17.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to map internal hosts and ports through outbound requests. The SMTP test endpoint accepts arbitrary host and port values and exposes reachability through response timing and errors, while webhooks likewise accept arbitrary IP destinations. Administrative access is required for the SMTP test path, and webhook creation privileges expose the same internal-network reconnaissance consequence.
