Cross-user data disclosure via unchecked object identifiers
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Authorization bypass in Xibo CMS before 4.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' campaign previews and saved reports. Preview and SavedReport handlers invoke disableUserCheck, suppressing ownership filtering while their controllers omit an equivalent authorization check. Access requires an account allowed to view layouts, campaigns, or saved reports; crafted URLs disclose cross-user content without reported write or service impact.
