Arbitrary file overwrite via CSV path traversal
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Relative path traversal in Anviz CX7 Firmware allows remote authenticated users to overwrite arbitrary files through a crafted CSV upload. The CSV upload handler accepts traversal sequences and writes outside its intended directory, including to /etc/shadow. All versions are affected, but administrative access is required; changing debug settings and replacing the password file enables unauthorized SSH access.
