CVE-2026-3192Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthorized RPC access via absent credential acceptance

Published Feb 25, 2026 · Updated Feb 25, 2026

Improper authentication in Chia Blockchain 2.1.0 allows remote attackers to access RPC functions when no RPC credentials are configured. The RPC server's _authenticate function returns true when _get_rpc_username returns no configured username instead of rejecting the request. Exploitation requires network reachability to an RPC endpoint and permits the operations exposed by that service, including sensitive wallet operations.
