Unauthenticated workflow data disclosure via SSE auth omission
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Authentication bypass in Dagu before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to read workflow and execution data through unauthenticated SSE endpoints. buildStreamAuthOptions leaves AuthRequired false in basic mode, so middleware admits credential-free requests despite enabling Basic authentication. Exposure requires DAGU_AUTH_MODE=basic and network reachability; disclosed data includes configurations, live status, queues, and logs that can contain secrets.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
