CVE-2026-31874Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated SUPER_ADMIN creation via client-supplied role

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Improper access control in Taskosaur 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to create SUPER_ADMIN accounts through public registration. The backend registration service forwards the client-controlled role from RegisterDto into usersService.create instead of forcing the MEMBER role. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation creates a fully privileged account with access to administrative functions and sensitive data.
