Authenticated command execution via interpolated Git parameters
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
OS command injection in Siteboon Cloud CLI before 1.24.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through Git API requests. Git routes interpolate file, branch, message, and commit values into shell command strings passed to execAsync(), so metacharacters alter the command. An account with access to the affected endpoints is required, and commands run with the privileges of the Node.js process.
