Unauthenticated DQL injection via unchecked order direction

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

DQL injection in Sylius API v2 order filters allows remote attackers to alter database queries through crafted sorting parameters. ProductPriceOrderFilter and TranslationOrderNameAndLocaleFilter pass each user-supplied direction directly to Doctrine orderBy() without limiting it to ASC or DESC. API v2 must be enabled and reachable; crafted filters can change query logic and disclose limited database information without modifying data.
