Open redirect via unvalidated Referer header
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Open redirect in Sylius before 1.9.12 and selected 1.10 through 2.2 releases allows remote attackers to redirect users through crafted links. CurrencySwitchController::switchAction(), ImpersonateUserController::impersonateAction(), and StorageBasedLocaleSwitcher::handle() pass the HTTP Referer header directly to RedirectResponse instead of generating a trusted internal route. A victim must follow a legitimate store link from an attacker-controlled page; public currency and locale endpoints need no authentication, while impersonation requires an administrator session, enabling trusted-domain phishing or credential theft.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
