Authenticated arbitrary file write via tracking ID traversal
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Path traversal in OliveTin before 3000.11.2 allows remote authenticated users to write files outside the configured log directory. With saveLogs enabled, stepSaveLog places StartAction's unvalidated UniqueTrackingId into .yaml and .log paths, so traversal segments escape that directory. StartAction access and OliveTin process write permission are required; resulting files can overwrite application or system data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
