Unauthorized template rendering via unchecked attribute access
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Access control bypass in Django Commons django-unicorn before 0.67.0 allows remote attackers to render unauthorized templates. The action parsers' set_property_value() and _call_method_name() functions use getattr and setattr without enforcing _is_public on attacker-selected names. No authentication or user interaction is required; impact is limited to existing templates in configured directories, with no code execution.
